Think Quick Part Duex

God is good! He provided a wonderful and most timely solution to my little dilemma yesterday. All I did was group the 2 Intermediate groups together. The volunteers were so willing to help and the students looked like they had a ton of fun with their substitutes! I enjoyed spending time reading Bearenstien Bears books to a little 4 year old boy named Bryan. What a great night!

Think Quick

By some crazy act of God, I was lead to the ESL ministry at my church and have been serving there for about one year now. I’m even coordinating the entire summer program at the Arlington Heights Racetrack.

The tutors who serve in the ministry have been nothing but amazing! But today invokes a new challenge…a new test…a new trial.

My tutors are paired so that if one is sick or has some kind of conflict, there is someone else there to back them up. I just got e-mails from 2 tutors of the same group.

This moment requires me to “think quick.” So what do I do first? I start thinking of who I can call to be a substitute. Then I pray. Now I wait for God to come through with an answer…a solution. God’s got my back. It’s His ministry so He won’t let us fail. God’s going to come through!

As some of you know, I like to blog. I’m not as consistent as some but I try to write something a few times a month.

I was blogging on myspace and then a little on xanga…It seems like I blog everywhere these days except on toilet paper. So I decided to narrow it down and come up with a primary blog at blogspot. Why blogspot you ask? It’s purely superficial. I like their design better:)

"Por el dia" which in Spanish means "for the day." Or at least that's the message I'm trying to convey. This blog will contain my thoughts, feelings, advice, gripes, fails, successes...etc. "for the day."
